Test cricket has seen a few close draws. There have been two draws by just a run. India feature in one of the two matches.
Match 1: England vs Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in 1996
England were set to chase 205 in 37 overs. Opener Nick Knight led the chase with a brilliant 96 but failed to take England past the winning target. He was run out on the last ball of the match going for the winning run. The match ended in a draw with the scores level. England could manage 204 for 6, falling short off the target by just a run.

Match 2: India vs West Indies at Mumbai in 2011
India were asked to chase 243 off 64 overs. India were cruising at one stage with the score 224/6 requiring 19 runs off 30 balls. But with Virat Kohli’s dismissal for 63, the momentum shifted to West Indies, who pulled off a draw. Going for the winning run on the last ball, R Ashwin was run-out for 14 as India ended up with 242/9 with the scores level and the match ended in an entertaining draw.
